Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced D365 ERP Functional Consultant with 5+ years of expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring the system, and supporting end-to-end ERP implementations across key functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Support & Implementation
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications.
Configure and implement D365 F&O modules.
Participate in full lifecycle ERP implementations (design, build, test, deploy).
 
Functional Expertise
Work on modules such as Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, and Supply Chain etc.
Ensure system configurations align with business processes.
Collaborate with technical teams for customization and integrations.
 
Testing & Deployment
Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support defect resolution.
Prepare test cases, scenarios, and documentation.
Assist in data migration and validation activities.
 
Stakeholder Management
Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user support.
Provide post-implementation support and system optimization.
 
Management of Process flows and related Roles
Design and configure workflows and security roles aligned with business processes, approval hierarchies, and compliance requirements.
Manage user access and approvals by defining roles, duties, and privileges while ensuring proper segregation of duties (SoD) and least-privilege access.
 
Preferred qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Strong functional knowledge in three or more modules:
- Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA etc)
- Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement etc
Experience in end-to-end ERP implementations
Strong understanding of business processes and workflows
Experience in UAT, documentation, and training
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with integrations, data migration, and reporting tools
 
Nice to Have:  
Basic understanding of X++ and technical concepts 
Knowledge of Azure, Power Platform, or Power BI
Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
