Job Summary:
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces. Your role will involve translating design concepts into code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ensuring that the final product is responsive, accessible, and performs well across different devices. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences and ensure a smooth user interaction across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain cross-browser compatibility.
- Design and implement responsive web designs to ensure a seamless experience across all devices and screen sizes.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services into the front-end architecture.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and principles.
- Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of front-end issues.
- Follow best practices in coding, UI development, and design principles, while ensuring that the design aligns with brand guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings to review technical solutions, project progress, and design discussions.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Advanced HTML, Advanced CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript for building interactive user interfaces.
- Solid experience with React (Advanced Component Structure, Styled Components), Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience with GSAP for animation.
- Deep understanding of Responsive Design principles and Cross-browser Compatibility.
- Experience with version control using Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in UI development.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and ability to translate them into code.
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with Performance Optimization techniques for web applications.
- Familiarity with testing and debugging tools, and experience ensuring that designs are functional, accessible, and optimized for performance.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Usability Testing and Accessibility Considerations.
- Knowledge of Package Managers like npm or Yarn.
- Experience with Jest, Mocha, or other front-end testing frameworks.
- Understanding of modern web technologies and principles of Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
