Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation and software quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts, improving test coverage, and ensuring software stability. This role requires strong programming skills, proficiency in automation frameworks, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functionality, performance, and security validation.
Implement and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
Identify and resolve test failures, regressions, and stability issues.
Enhance test coverage, performance, and reliability across environments.
Ensure automated tests are efficient, repeatable, and maintainable.
Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and engineering teams to refine test strategies.
Debug and troubleshoot application and automation issues.
Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, RestAssured.
Use SQL for database validation and test data management.
Adhere to Agile methodologies in a Scrum environment.
Utilize CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab) and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
Manage test cases and defects with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4-6 years of experience in QA automation with expertise in developing and maintaining test scripts.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Ruby.
Solid understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, NUnit).
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Exposure to network protocols and automation for network-related testing.
Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks like Appium or Calabash.
